I produced a version of Target Assault for the 2007 DUMBO Arts Festival, using the underside of the Manhattan Bridge, on the Brooklyn side, as my location. It was very successful in many ways, including the choice of location: a fantastic symbol of intercommunity connection and of the city, vulnerable and exposed to attack from below. The climbing figure also animated very effectively against the man-made structure, jerkily making his way up and across the footings and underside of the bridge.
